Application Review
Is your application ready to submit?
The Application Reviews will ensure you have feedback and context for impactful edits to your application. Don’t just get the instructions, but understand why you’re making the changes to help demystify the college application process.
Founder Christina Chady will provide all feedback. With her combined work in admissions for over a decade as an admissions officer and counselor, in addition to her experience with writing with her MFA, teaching, and publishing, your application will have thorough, thoughtful feedback.
What to expect:
Christina will review each section of the application per selected package. Upon review, she will provide a separate document that details suggestions for each section. An audio option is also available.
You will have specific feedback and action-items for potential edits. She will also explain why she is making each suggestion so that you can be informed and make the decision that is best for you.
*Please note that she will not make any edits or changes directly to the document.
Core Application Review
+ This includes all information from the core Common App (or Coalition App), including Profile, Education, Education, Testing, Future Plans, Honors, Activity List, Personal Statement, Additional Information.
+ (Optional) Transcript and list of letter of recommendation writers (not the letters themselves).
+ This option is best to ensure that materials that go out to all universities has professional insights for strengthening an application.
Core + 1 School Review
+ This option includes everything from Core and introduces a school’s Supplemental Section.
+ You may provide the school’s full supplemental section, which will include questions on major, short responses, and essays.
+ If a school has multiple supplemental essays, this will include all required essays.
+ This will not include separate scholarship essays.
+ This option is best for a more thorough review, especially for a top choice or dream school.
Core + 2 School Review
+ This option includes everything from Core and introduces 2 schools’ Supplemental Sections.
+ If a school has multiple supplemental essays, this will include all required essays.
+ This will not include separate scholarship essays.
+ This option is best for a more thorough review across schools, especially for top choices or dream schools.
Core + 3 School Review
+ This option includes everything from Core and introduces 2 schools’ Supplemental Sections.
+ If a school has multiple supplemental essays, this will include all required essays.
+ This will not include separate scholarship essays.
+ This option is best for a more thorough review across schools, especially for top choices or dream schools. You will gain the most insight across the most applications and essay-types.
What will be required:
To conduct a review, all materials must be present at the time of purchase. Please see the corresponding Application Review you desire for the exact materials that are required per package. If materials are not all present, the review will be conducted with that is provided; it will not be redone.
Ways to submit: If materials are already in the Common App, hitting preview and saving as 1 PDF will be the most streamlined and accurate method for review. This will be how admissions officers will see your application in the future. You can do this option for the Core and Schools in their respective sections within the Common App.
You can also submit information in a separate document: PDF, Word Doc, or Excel if the Common App option is not working. Please be mindful of how it is organized so that the review can be thorough and precise.
Please note, that depending on demand, Christina may offer Application Reviews in waves per week. This is to ensure that everyone receives their feedback within the 3-5 day timeframe without a backlog. Get yours in early to avoid any delay!
Expedited reviews will be available before deadlines at a Premium (1-3 day turn around).
